You need to visit Medicare's Web site: medicare.gov

Medicare has a set of plans that people can or not considered related to diseases and medical recommendations. In addition, depending on the state. Medicare is very challenging, what they cover because they state funds. The government can not afford to meet the needs of all and thus, rules limiting the benefits that they offer to create. I hope that helped at least a little.

That's what the pharmacist your Medicare Part D in my district representative told us, when ask for it. A few years ago, there was a problem with people that the federal government insurance and abuse of benzodiazepines, drugs such as Ativan responded, Xanax, etc. Congress by prohibiting the payment of the federal government insured person a benzodiazepine. Therefore, Medicare Part D, a federal law, insurance may not be on Ativan. If you are not to your representatives in Congress.

Some plans include Part D prescription drug medications, but costs per month.

You may, for the plans during the AEP, from 15 November to 31 December each year manages store and plans to change if you want coverage effective 1-1-08. Ativan does not cost much anyway so it's probably better to pay your participation more expensive to buy, to cover them.
